Woah, A Blog?

Hey guys, Felicia here. So, I started a blog 😬 lol

If you know me, you know I’ve got a lot to say. So I decided I’d create a space to share my thoughts on things, instead of flooding my facebook or various social media accounts. I’m going to be talking about anything from current events, to revelation I’ve found in the Bible, to how my week has been. It is going to be mainly Bible based because, well, that’s where the truth is found. My goal here is for it not to be my opinion, but what I believe God’s opinion is on things. I’m excited to see what God has to say to me and through me.

I want this space to be one that is full of love. A Christlike love, filled with grace and truth combined. A love that is raw and authentic. We are called to love as Christ loves. I want this space to be one that is full of light. A light that ignites hope, hope in God, hope for yourself, and hope for our world. We are called to put our hope, confident expectation, in Jesus. He is the only one who can bring true hope. And He is the only one who can show us what real love looks like.

I am excited for this journey of discovering Christ’s heart and mind for things and just having a space to dedicate to writing what God is placing in my heart. I would be so honored if you’d join me for the ride. If you have any topics you’d like for me to write on please leave me a comment or email me at felicialwise@gmail.com.

Love you guys,
Felicia

Getting Prepared: The Long Way

Y'all - I know it’s been a minute but MAN have I got something to share. This has been building for a little, but exploded in my heart today! Ima be very transparent in this post lol - H.O.T. (Humble. Open. Transparent.) So I didn't realize, fully, until today that I have been in a wilderness season. Just disappointment after disappointment, things going wrong left and right and just tryna navigate lol. So, yesterday, I was praying and I heard the Lord say something to me about the direction for my life. To be honest, I questioned it because well... I hadn't been connected to Him the few weeks prior. Basically He said to me in my doubt "You don't have to prove your worth in order to hear my voice. My children hear my voice, if they are listening. You are listening, so you don't have to prove yourself to trust that I am and will speak to you"  He's not gonna give us the silent treatment or go ghost, because we messed up.  Talk about toxic thinking bei...

Take Two

Take two? Yes, take two. This will be the second time I have felt the desire to start something like this. The inital time was during 2020 when well everyone was trying new things. We were at the height of racial tension, and life had just been "flipped-turned upside down." I, like many, had some stuff to say. But, as most did with the things they picked up during quarantine, I put this to the side and continued in the "normalcy" that we eventually got back too. This time tho, it is different. Well, actually, no, not really. Both times, I believe they were directives from the Lord, only this time I will follow through lol. So yes, this time is different! This time, instead of hoping the outside world will give me things to share my perspective on, I will allow God to give me things, From The Sacred Place, to share my perspective on. My goal with this blog is to write about  things I am learning through life. The Lord is constantly speaking and sharing secrets of the...

Growing a Mustard Seed

So I got his revelation during Transformation Church's week of prayer and fasting. We were praying from a set of verses when I realized they all built upon each other. They all described how faith worked. Faith is such a simple concept, though it's not easy, at all. Most of the Bible is simple, yet not easy. This post will be more of a teaching than all the others have been thus far. I'm going to try and explain my revelation, as effectively and efficiently as I can. Alright, let's go. Growing up one of the most quoted verses I heard was "all things are possible to him who believes" [Mark 9:23]. Growing up in the Word of Faith denomiation meant that the promises in the Bible were and are the things we clung to. I grew up learning that if it is a promise in the Bible, it is your right as a believer to see that manifested in your life. I still believe that. However, the most challenging part of that idea is having full confidence in those promises, especially if...
