What can we do? What is our part? That is something I have been asking myself since the murder of George Flyod. And to be honest I’m not even just talking about Black Lives Matter because it is bigger than that. I am talking about the country as a whole. This nation, the people in this nation, the poor, broken, outcast, the communities of people who are hurting and helpless. What can we do? What can I do? This week I was on the phone with my grandma and she was talking about what we as the body of Christ should be doing but haven’t been doing. We gave up our responsibility to “Defend the cause of the weak and fatherless; maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed. Rescue the weak and needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked” - Psalms 82:3-4.
