Mercy Mercy Mercy

 A few weeks ago, I met with a friend, and she dropped a deep revelation on me. We were talking about how the grace and kindness of God should not cause you to want to sin more but should lead you to repentance, causing you to live a holy life. She challenged me with the idea that "it's the Mercy of God that people need to experience.” That got me thinking about mercy. Quite frankly, I have never heard anyone preach about it. Nor have I really heard the term mercy in conversation. If I am honest, I thought it was another term for grace. Man, was I mistaken. Mercy is when you have no other choice but for God to save you. When you have gotten to the end of yourself to the point where it is either death, (emotionally, spiritually, or mentally) or the mercy of God steps in to let you see another day. Take Two

Take two? Yes, take two. This will be the second time I have felt the desire to start something like this. The inital time was during 2020 when well everyone was trying new things. We were at the height of racial tension, and life had just been "flipped-turned upside down." I, like many, had some stuff to say. But, as most did with the things they picked up during quarantine, I put this to the side and continued in the "normalcy" that we eventually got back too. This time tho, it is different. Well, actually, no, not really. Both times, I believe they were directives from the Lord, only this time I will follow through lol. So yes, this time is different! This time, instead of hoping the outside world will give me things to share my perspective on, I will allow God to give me things, From The Sacred Place, to share my perspective on.
